Keith A. Brown, age 55, of State Route 3, Sugarbush died Tuesday, August 05, 2014 at his home.

Born in Plattsburgh, New York on February 10, 1959, he was the son of Keith and Shirley (Provost) Brown. Keith married Dorothy Muir on August 26, 1978 in Onchiota.

Keith had been employed for many years at Imperial Wall Coverings in Plattsburgh. He was a carpenter and master woodcraftsman, avid hunter and fisherman. Keith cherished spending time with his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Brown of Sugarbush, two sons Keith Brown and his fiancé Reyanin Peck of Loon Lake, and Todd Brown and his wife Tricia of Sugarbush, one daughter Sarah Brown and her significant other John J. Jackson of Potsdam, three grandchildren Logan, Jack and Stella Brown, two brothers Kevin Brown of Ellenburg Depot and Danny Brown and his wife Roseanne of Loon Lake, three sisters Vanessa Rascoe and her husband Donald of Loon Lake and Lynne Nichols and her husband Howard of Sugarbush and Renee Julian and her husband Ralph of Peru and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and one son Eric Andrew Brown.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Merrillsville Cemetery in Loon Lake.
