Gail Virginia Donaldson, age 74of Syracuse, NY entered Heavens Gate on Oct 31, 2014.
She was born on April 9th, 1940 in Saranac Lake to the late Loretta M. (Starks) and Clarence H. Donaldson.
Gail graduated from Saranac Lake High School, and Crouse Irving Nursing School with her RN degree. She made her home in Syracuse and worked at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Syracuse. She was a Medicaid Services Coordinator at the Central NY Developmental Center Office, upon retirement.
Gail is survived by a sister, Barbara (Donaldson) Callaghan of Newport, NS, Canada; 2 brothers, Ronald Donaldson of Apex, NC and Dale Donaldson of Yuma City, Ca; one step brother, John Kling of Lewisberry,PA, 2 step sisters, Dorthea (Kling) Carpenter of Tupper Lake, and Mary (Kling) Filsinger Prevatt of Clayton, NC, and a very dear and close Cousin, Norma (Donaldson) Young of Lake Clear and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a step sister and sister-in-law, Ida "Tyke" (Kling) Donaldson.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. Following cremation there will be a graveside service at St. John’s Cemetery in Paul; Smiths in July at the convenience of the family
