Amy Rae Rushlow passed away on May 13, 2026, at Adirondack Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 8, 1981, in Norwich, NY, to Patricia and Richard Ashton, she spent most of her life in Saranac Lake, NY. She also worked as a bartender at the Saranac Lake Veterans Club.
Amy’s greatest joy was her son, Jarrett Ashton. She was his proudest supporter and rarely missed his sporting events. She also cherished her niece, Jayden Ashton, and her nephew, Isaiah Adams. Amy is survived by her son, Jarrett Ashton (Elyssa Strack); her parents, Patricia and Richard Ashton; her brother, Eric Ashton; her niece, Jayden Ashton; and her nephew, Isaiah Adams. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Amy was deeply loved by her family and friends.

We would like to express our thanks to Amy’s family, friends, and doctors for their support these last two years.
