Patricia Bickford

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Bickford, age 80, of Queensbury, NY, on Friday, November 5th.

For several years, she struggled with medical challenges that were simply too overpowering in the end. Her final moments were shared with her immediate family and were filled with love and tenderness.

Patricia was born in Easton, PA on April 6, 1941, the daughter of Edward and Ann Bickford.

She had a devoted and loving family, and her friends and colleagues were often equally as close.

Her professional career spanned Educational Sales positions for several companies over the years – 25 of which were with Harcourt, then Rigby and finally as the Vice President of Sales for Rally Education.

Patricia is survived by her daughters: Leslie (Christopher) Abel and Robin (Neil) Kelsey, her son Allen "Tad" (Karin Blidberg) Greenough, her 7 grandchildren,

her two brothers, Edward (Katherine) and Peter (Katrina) Bickford, and her sister Mary Ann (Paul) Casey.

Patricia was predeceased by her mother and father, and her sister Susan Bickford Thomas.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. At Patricia's request there will be no calling hours. A funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday June 11, 2022 at St. John's in the Wilderness Protestant Church in Paul Smiths, NY. with the Reverend Ken Applegate officiating. Burial will immediately follow in St. John's in the Wilderness Cemetery in the family lot. A reception will follow the burial at the Red Fox Restaurant in Saranac Lake, NY
