Edna Mae Call-Salisbury 79, died June 6th 2025 surrounded by family and love at her home in Bloomingdale NY. Edna is known for her soft spoken, gentle and loving demeanor, her love for a 4th of July parade and hanging out with her grandkids and great grandkids. She loved all the friends she made throughout her life. Edna was born July 5th 1945 in Cornwall NY to Charles Call and Shirley Ann O’Dell. She was married to the love of her life Edwin George Salisbury who died in 1976. She had 7 children. In her early years she worked many waitressing jobs. She was a mechanic on tractor trailers and drove them as well. She migrated South to North Carolina where she remarried. She loved the southern hospitality and especially the heat.

Edna was the eldest of 10 children. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin George Salisbury her parents Shirley and Charles Call, Her brother David Call, sisters Beverly Leon and Charlotte Lawrence. Her sons David and Randolph Salisbury. Her great grandchildren Cheyenne Wilson and Katherine Mae Schulte.

She is survived by her Brother Charles Christopher Call, Sisters Sharon Aubin, Theresa Corrow, Deborah Baucom, Susan Corrow McCarthy, Julie Corrow and Mary Lawrence. Her Daughters Melissa Mitchell, Tonia Lee McKethan, Mildred Kirkpatrick, Racheal Alvarado, and son John Michael Call and adopted son Michael Isbitts. Her grandchildren, Joseph Baucom, Stacey Klimek, Gary Klimek, Megan Schulte, David Salisbury Jr., CJ McKethan, Lyssa McKethan, Kenzie McKethan, Jacelyn McKethan, Stacy McDuffie, Sasha Call, Kiah Call, Mary Whitlatch, and Kenneth Kirkpatrick. Her Great Grandkids, Joey Schulte, Emma Schulte, Ember Schulte, Michael Schulte, Thomas Heckman, Michael Squilla, Stacey Squilla, DeSaunte McKethan, Jahmya McKethan, Omari Miller, Marzell McKethan, Zavyon McKethan, Joseph Kirkpatrick, Michael Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Stormy Stevens, Adalynn Whitlatch, Phoenix Whitlatch, and Serenity Kirkpatrick.

And most Importantly she is survived by her beloved furry friend Lil Bit who she loved with every fiber in her body.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A graveside burial services will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday July 12th, 2025 at St. Matthews Cemetery in Black Brook, NY.
