Carol Farrell, age 64, of 76 Algonquin Ave., Saranac Lake, NY died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at C.V.P.H Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

Born in Clyde, New York on June 22, 1944, she was the daughter of Harold and Jennie (Buliteri) Burt. ( & step father Joseph Mendola of Liverpool).

Carol married George Farrell on August 1, 1964 in Liverpool, NY and moved to the Adirondacks where she made her home which she loved. She was a full time mother and enjoyed and loved her children, grandchildren and all her large family.

She is survived by one son Patrick Farrell and his wife Alicia of Lake Clear, NY, one daughter Darla Martin and her husband Dustin of Saranac Lake, NY, six grandchildren Danny, Darcie, George, Russell and Allison Farrell of Lake Clear, NY and Brady Martin of Saranac Lake, one sister Myrtie Wilkos and her husband Frank of Liverpool, NY, two brothers Harold Burt and his wife Nancy and Eugene Burt and his wife Dorothy both of Clyde, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a large family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband George, one son Danny her parents and step father.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 2PM -4PM and 6PM - 8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday November 24, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Bernard's Church, with Rev. Thomas Kornmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
