TUPPER LAKE- Bernadette (Bunny) Gilligan, 80, of 2763 State Rte 30, Tupper Lake died Saturday, October 17th at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Born on June 1, 1929 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Jerry and Stella (St. John) Clement. Bernadette was married to Earl F. Gilligan on April 21, 1956 and made their home in Tupper Lake. Over the years, Bernadette worked for Larry Woods of Woods Laundry service, the Tupper Lake Veneer Corp and then later for Roger Sullivan at O.W.D. corp. She enjoyed needlepoint, ceramics and especially bingo with her friends. She very much enjoyed time with her grandchildren and pets, with her fondness of Wobbles. She is survived by two daughters; Susan A. Weigand and her husband Paul of Tupper Lake, Linda Gilligan and her fiance` Jeff Mayotte of Tupper Lake, 6 grandchildren; Aimee and Kyle Ohlidal, Kimberly Young, Jesse Weigand, Jonathen Gilligan, Jordan Flagg all of Tupper Lake and one great-grandson, Kayden Ohlidal of Albany. She is also survived by one sister Mildred Beaudette and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Earl in 1985, her parents, two brothers; Leo and Leonard (Bucky) Clement, five sisters; Mary Ann Carlson, Marie Debiaw, Irene Liberty, Carolyn Gonyea and Dorothy Kenville. There will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 30th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
