Gregory Andrew Phillips

Gregory A. Phillips, age 72, of Saranac Lake, died Friday, June 13, 2025 at his home.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on November 10, 1952, he was the son of George A. and Shirley O. (Lancto) Phillips.

Greg grew up in Lake Placid, where he attended and graduated from the Lake Placid High School in 1970. He is a veteran of the United States Army serving for a brief period of time until he was honorably discharged for medical reasons. Greg returned to Saranac Lake where he worked for American Management Association and then later for North Star Industries as a Direct Support Professional for over 20 years. Greg was a passionate volunteer for the Alpo Sled Dog Races for many years and an avid fisherman. He was a humble and kind soul who loved spending time with his friends.

Greg is survived by his many cousins and close friends.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. At Greg’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
