Raymond Hogan

April 20, 1939 — June 3, 2015

Raymond R. Hogan passed away at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY. on June 3, 2015 at the age of 76. Raymond (Ray) is predeceased by his parents Richard and Gertrude LaFountain Hogan and his brother Bernard T. Hogan.

Ray is survived by his sons Michael (Donna) of Malverrn, PA, Patrick of Syracuse, NY, Bryan (Will) of San Jose, CA; sisters Kathryn (Robert) Wooding of Largo, FL, Maureen (Mark) Bomyea of Renssalaer Falls, NY; brothers Howard (Fran) of Georgia VT and Patrick (Kathy) of Saranac Lake, NY and loving stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ray is also survived by his longtime companion of thirty-five years, Jeannette LaBombarrd of New Windsor, NY and West Palm Beach, FL.

Born in the town of Franklin; Bloomingdale, NY on April 20, 1939; he graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1957 and soon after enlisted in the US Navy and served four years. He was a member of various civic organizations having held numerous offices in each. He once owned and operated a used automobile business in Malone, NY and Credit Manager of a local bank in the same town. In the last years before his retirement he was an insurance agent with the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Msgr. Henry O'Carroll Council 444 in Newburgh, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Bloomingdale, NY. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Saranac Lake, NY.
