Patricia A. Blanchard

Patricia A. Blanchard, age 72, of Lake Clear passed away on April 30, 2026 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born on April 17, 1954 in Potsdam, the daughter of Kenneth and Gertrude (Niles) McGarvey. She grew up in St. Regis Falls.

She was predeceased by her husband Archie W. Blanchard, Jr. on February 12, 2024, her step daughter Gay Marie Karnes and her step son Archie Blanchard, III, her granddaughter Harlie Lynn Rascoe, her great granddaughter Rosaleigh Marie Blanchard, in addition to her parents. Patricia is also predeceased by her brother Steven McGarvey, her step father Bill Patraw and some other siblings and family members.

Patricia is survived by her loving children Kimberly (David) Rascoe , Christine (William Stamper) Blanchard, her step children Joanne Blanchard McDaniel, Harold Blanchard and Jean Blanchard, as well as her brother Kenny McGarvey, her brother in laws, her nieces and nephews and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Patricia enjoyed doing crafts and baking and watching Christmas shows.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. At Patricia’s request there will be no calling hours. All funeral services will be private and at the convenience of Kim Rascoe and Christina Blanchard.
