Myrabell Savarie, age 92, formerly of Bloomingdale, NY died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the AMC-Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid where she had been a resident since 2002.
Born in Baldwinsville, New York on June 26, 1917, she was the daughter of William and Mary (Fravor) Baker.
Mrs. Savarie had been employed as a seamstress for many years and had worked for the Saranac Lake General Hospital in the 1960's and 70'.
She is survived by one son Henry Savarie and his wife Jodi of Bloomingdale, NY and one daughter Sue Ellen Dekkers and her husband David of Vermontville, NY, 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and two sisters Ida Parslow and Ila Ploss of Piseco, NY, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents andf one brother William Baker of Piseco, NY.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. Internment will take place at the Piseco Cemetery in Higgins Bay, NY.
