Thomas F. Quinn, age 64, of Malone, died Saturday, November 08, 2025 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY. He was surrounded by his daughters and loving family members.
Born in Plattsburgh, New York on May 17, 1961, he was the son of Roger and Barbara (Perry).
Thomas married Linda Otis on March 17, 2018. Thomas retired as a Lieutenant from Upstate Correctional Facility with 38 years of dedication and loyalty to the NYS Department of Corrections. In life, he reveled in cheering on his beloved New York Yankees and Buffalo Sabres, spending time on the golf course with years of Friday Night League and Roger Quinn Memorial tournament memories, and tending to his newfound hobby of gardening. Thomas was a skilled carpenter and tradesman, as he was always the one family and friends could count on for odd jobs, side projects, and anything that needed fixing. Above all, his greatest pride and deepest joy were his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Linda of Malone, two daughters, Jennifer White (Joel) of Kingston Ontario and Barbara Arey (Chad) of Tupper Lake, NY, four beloved grandchildren, Maddison, Jackson, Thea, and Charlotte, six siblings, Anthony Quinn of Saranac, Timothy Quinn of Saranac, Tammy Quinn of Saranac Lake, Donna McDonough of Salt Lake City, Donald Quinn of Cadyville, Mary Sue Quinn of Summerville, as well as a large and loving group of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his parents Roger and Barbara Quinn.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A public Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, November 21, at St. Bernard’s Church in Saranac Lake with Rev. Martin Cline officiating. A reception will follow at the Belvedere Restaurant. Friends and family wishing to remember Thomas F. Quinn may make memorial contributions to the Interfaith Food Pantry in Saranac Lake, as it was near and dear to his mother’s heart.
