Virginia L. Daniels

Virginia L. Daniels, 78, of Saranac Lake, NY passed away on Monday October 26, 2026.

Virginia was born in Saranac Lake, NY on April 9, 1948 the daughter of Eleanor Nichols Daniels and James Daniels.

She graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1966 and North Country Community College in 1994.

Virginia was employed at AMA for several years prior to attending NCCC after which she was employed at Sunmount DDSO until her retirement in 2010.

She was a volunteer at the community lunch box, Saranac Lake Free Library, AMC, Grace Pantry, and High Peaks Hospice.

Virginia was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church where she was a member of the choir from the age of 13, and the organist for the church for a few years when she was young. She was a member of the altar guild and treasurer for the flower fund for many years. She was also the treasurer of the ladies guild for many years.

Virginia was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her half brother Brian Daniels, her cousins Jennifer Zahn, Melanie Jaramillo and Bernard Zahn and three nieces and one nephew.

At Virginia’s request there will be no calling hours.

A funeral service will be held at St. Luke’s church at a future date with burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
