Ivan L. Warner passed in peace and surrounded by family on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at the age of 86.

Ivan is survived by his wife Joanne and his children Travis, Tracy (Brad)), Michael (Jean), Lyman (Kaye) and Roy (Melody). His grandchildren Faith, Whitney, Jarrett, Deona, Kara, Ivan, Johnathan, Mandy, Roger, Joshua and many Great grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Phyllis, Joyce and many nieces and nephews.

Ivan is predeceased by his parents Roy and Alice (Hoyt) Warner, A son Ivan Jr. and daughter Nadine Hoffman. His brothers Norman and Doug and his sisters Muriel, Betty, Peggy, Iona and Pearl.

Ivan worked until he was 85, doing the thing he loved most driving dump truck. He drove truck for 65 plus years. He was the heart and soul of his family. He made us laugh until the day he passed. Ivan loved to watch his grandchildren play hockey. Most days you could find him in his chair watching Fox News and eating sweets.

At the family’s request and in memory of Ivan, all truck drivers are asked to give a “Horn Salute” when passing the house on Center Street in Saranac Lake over the next few days.

Funeral arrangements are in care of Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. At Ivan’s request, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, family and friends wishing to remember Ivan L. Warner may make memorial contributions to the Sara-Placid Youth Hockey Program in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.
