Laura Wenner

Laura Jean Wenner (Tucker) “Lala”, age 53 of Fort Covington, NY passed away on May 16, 2021 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY surrounded by her loving family.

Lala as predeceased by her father William Tucker and her dad Walter E. Drew.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 27 years Joseph Wenner, her mother Janet Hinkley of Constable, NY; Three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Lisa (Neil) Beaney of Constable, NY, Michelle (Roy) Lamica of Brushton, NY and Dawn Sirman of Plattsburgh, NY. Lala is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Laura spent many years doing child care and retail doing what she loved. In her free time, Lala enjoyed doing arts and crafts, but cherished time spent with her family and friends.

At Lala’s request, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Mountain View Cemetery in Gabriels, NY.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.
